So, your emotions are all over the place. You don’t know which way to turn, but you know you just must keep going. But how do you do that, when all you can just about do is breathe and try to face the day ahead.
Emotions can have such an impact on you that your whole world can come crushing down. It can eat away at you inside resulting on the outside becoming so impacted that the slightest little thing becomes biggest thing ever. It can also greatly take a toll on your physical and mental health.
So much going on and all you want to do is breathe. So, what do you do? You breathe! You take that deep meaningfully breathe and you start to focus. Not on the issue that has created this space in your mind (that you don’t welcome) but focus on the one thing that no one can take from you. You focus on you! While all around you is moving and making so much noise you focus on you. The issue is parked, the noise becomes silent and your only position is to focus on the here and now. With each thought you walk it step by step, not planning ahead, not looking behind it, just focusing on the here and now. At this point your training becomes your therapy. Play that tune, listen to the word or just switch everything off so you can focus, and you breathe. You take each rep one by one and you connect with the muscle being worked. You feel the pressure of the muscle at work as it contracts and releases, and you feel the blood flowing. That flow is your purpose. Your body is reacting to your command and nothing but you is in control. Your changing and constructing both mentally and physically. Your focusing on creating a better you. Why? Because you are worth it. No issue is worth more than you, so brush it off, dig deep and put yourself first. Why should an issue stop your journey? Use what was meant to bring you down as a steppingstone to push you higher. Now go get you back. Your body and mind are waiting for you.
